In japan the birth rates are low because they use some birth control methods that others dont. Married couples rely heavily on induced abortions. Another remarkable featrue of Japanese birth control is their use of post World War II method of contraceptive and that is to rely upon condoms and the calculation of the female reproductive cycles. (rythym method)
A country that is so technologically advanced still depends on ancient historical methods for preventing birth. Hmm... interesting...
technology + ancient = balance, maybe? XD » razzly

I've actually heard a lot of good things about the rhythm method and a lot of people do practice that here (but it's mostly the other way around...to try and get pregnant, so they do this minus the condoms)...there were a lot of people on my preggo message board that talked about it that had been trying to conceive for years and had no luck.
THE ABORTION THING...not so good in America, but if the Japanese are doing it and they're okay with it, more power to em, I suppose. » lazypuppy

A few hentai I've read mentioned it's a good or bad day. I always wondered why bother keeping track when you can just pop a pill, put on a patch or take a shot?
Of course safe sex is bull and stuff. I don't believe in it UNLESS you used a condom, birth control, etc. If you had unprotected sex then suck it up and deal with it either by giving it up for adoption or keeping the baby. (This comes from someone who seriously had a huge chance of being aborted.) » Katrina
