Tonight we decorated the tree. I usually dont get a tree until the week of Christmas because I usually cant afford one. So last year I purchased a fake tree so that we can put it up every year on Dec. 1st. We assembled it yesterday and decorated it today. It was so nice to come home to the apartment with only the christmas tree lights on.

I do not like christmas. It is such a depressing time of year. But I have to admit, it is nice to see the tree.

I like Christmas, but not so much the decorating. The tree however, must be real otherwise its just not the same. We had a fake tree one year cuz we couldn't afford a real one. It was so sucky that the next year we made sure that we had the money for a real one.

awww..why is Christmas so depressing?

My dad gets depressed around Christmas too...but I think it's a good time of year to get with the family and just be together.

Fake trees are fun... except my mom gripes at us every year to put up the tree, but never offers any help. I've no motivation to put up the tree, given the condition of my dads house.
